Iīll admit instrumental bands often do leave me sceptical. 
Most times it just takes itīs toll for musicians to make 
up for the lack of a leading figure. 
But these debutants Oh Lucky Star most likely was born 
under a lucky star proper.

With a foundation of surf-pop they do manage to weave 
in everything from jazz, blues and rock into a creative, 
explosive merge. The inventiveness is flowing here and 
intrepid explorations are crossed simultaneously. At the 
same time the music gives you a sense of meditation You 
can actually shut your eyes and travel in a colourful 
adventure. Only your imagination will limit to where 
you might end up. It is all dashing forward at full 
gallop. 

Most of all I catch on to the bombastically bluesleaven 
Europe vs America, which will wake up the hardest of 
sleepers. The band steps further out than most bands 
and actually dare to break barriers in an altogether 
unique fashion. Just hold on and join the trip!
